‘Justice League’: Batman Actor Ben Affleck Talks About The New Tactical Batsuit

Oct 2, 2016

Over the weekend the six month-long production on Zack Snyder’s Justice League wrapped in London. Filming on the DCEU superhero team up film now moves onto Iceland for its final stretch.

Last month Justice League director Snyder tweeted image of Ben Affleck’s new tactical Batsuit. And whilst promoting his new film The Accountant, Affleck spoke with Mario Lopez about the new costume, explaining that Batman will have two suits in the Justice League movie.

“There’s two suits in Justice League. One is the one that we’ve seen before, and then one that he augments because of the nature of the mission, which I can’t give away. But it was a chance for them to play with the suit and add elements to it and kind of tech it out, and I thought they did a really good job. It was really fun.”

Affleck was asked once again about his solo Batman film. Which will see the Oscar-winner direct as well as star in. Affleck barely acknowledged the question saying “That’s right. That’s what they say” He did confirm however that fellow Justice League actor J.K Simmons would also appear in the Dark Knight standalone movie.

Watch the interview below:

Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.

Justice League will hit screens November 17, 2017
