Kat Coiro is officially joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe as ‘She-Hulk’s executive producer and director for a majority of the series. Coiro made her it name in Hollywood as a director for Brooklyn-99, It Always Sunny in Philadelphia and Shameless. As of September 15, 2020 she is currently in talks to direct the pilot as well as several other episodes.
The series has tapped Jessica Gao from Rick and Morty as the lead writer. She-Hulk is the last major character to have been co-created by Stan Lee. The character of She-Hulk is Jennifer Walters, the attorney cousin of Bruce Banner who received her powers from an emergency blood transfusion from her cousin. The main difference between She-Hulk and Hulk is that She-Hulk maintains her wits about her when in Hulk mode. At this time details are incredibly scarce and it is unknown of her origin will be told seeing as how Bruce Banner is permanently Professor Hulk in the MCU.
