‘Death on the Nile,’ the upcoming follow-up to ‘Murder on the Orient Express,’ now has Letitia Wright in the cast. The film is based on the novel by Agatha Christie.
Wright broke out with her performance as Shuri in ‘Black Panther,’ and reprised the role for ‘Avengers: Infinity War.’ 2018 was a big year for her, as she also had roles in Netflix’s ‘Black Mirror: Black Museum,’ Lionsgate’s ‘The Commuter,’ and Warner Bros.’ ‘Ready Player One.’ She was recently in Amazon’s ‘Guava Island,’ starring Donald Glover and Rihanna. Next, she co-stars with John Boyega in Mike Cahill’s ‘Hold Back the Stars.’
Moreover, Wright’s character is below:
“Rosalie Otterbourne, a lead suspect in the story, which follows Poirot as he attempts to unravel the murder of a young heiress while on vacation in Egypt.”
The cast, so far, comprises of Gal Gadot, Armie Hammer, and Kenneth Branagh. Not only will Branagh reprise his role as detective Hercule Poirot, he will return to direct. Michael Green (‘Logan,’ ‘Blade Runner 2049’) is also coming back to write the screenplay.
The film, now under Disney, is set for October 2, 2020.
