Key Crew Updates For Disney Flicks ‘Mulan’, ‘Artemis Fowl’, and ‘Noelle’

We have some crew updates to share for three upcoming Walt Disney Pictures productions.

First up is Niki Caro‘s Mulan, which has added Narcos’ costume designer Bina Daigeler, visual effects supervisor Sean Andrew Faden (Power Rangers), and stunt coordinator Allan Poppleton (The Wolverine, Hercules, Rampage). It stars Yifei Liu and filming is expected to begin sometime this month in Wellington, New Zealand, and China.

Director Kenneth Branagh has gathered a bunch of familiar crew members for his upcoming Artemis Fowl adaptation with composer Patrick Doyle, production designer Jim Clay (Children of Men, Murder on The Orient Express), cinematographer Haris Zambarloukos (Cinderella, Thor, Murder on The Orient Express), and stunt coordinator James O’Donnell (Black Mirror, Rogue One, Kick-Ass, Murder On The Orient Express). Fowl stars Judy Dench, Josh Gad, and newcomer Ferdia Shaw as Artemis. It’s expected begin shooting this March in Ireland with a release date of August 9th, 2019.

 

Disney’s Christmas flick Noelle has seasoned cinematographer Russell Carpenter (Titanic, Ant-Man) behind the camera. Noelle is directed by Marc Lawrence starring Anna Kenrick, Bill Hader, Shirley MacLaine, and Billy Eichner. It shoots from October 23rd to January 18th in Vancouver with a release date of November 8th, 2019.
