CBS announced today that ‘The Big Sick’ writer and star Kumail Nanjiani will star in an episode of ‘The Twilight Zone’ reboot.

Alex Junberg is penning the episode but plot details are being kept under wraps.

Nanjiani is the third person to join the show following Adam Scott and Sanaa Lathan. Jordan Peele is executive producing the show alongside ‘Dark Phoenix’ director Simon Kinberg, Win Rosenfeld, Audrey Chon, Carol Serling, Rick Berg and Greg Yaitanes.

The show will premiere on CBS All Access sometime next year.
