Today during a phone conference with Lionsgate CEO Jon Feltheimer it was revealed that the studio is considering making “five or six or seven” other Power Rangers films. He goes onto say “We are really, really excited about the ‘Power Rangers’ movie,” The upcoming reboot of the long children franchise hasn’t even completed principle photography yet and the studio is clamoring for their next franchise. Of course this comes as no surprise given their Twilight, Hunger Games and Divergent franchises are long over. However, it is interesting that they are building towards a franchise without the first one even debuting yet. But if the film fails miserably don’t expect sequels any time soon…
