Loot Anime is a monthly mystery bundle featuring items such as figures, apparel, manga and more. Each box is guaranteed to have $60+ value for only $24.95 a month plus shipping and handling.
July’s theme is: SQUADRON. This crate featured items from GATE, Arpeggio of Blue Steel, Assault Kingdom, and Anti-Magic Academy.
Items Included:
- GATE Tee
- GATE Multi-Tool Carabiner
- Assault Kingdom
- Anti-Magic Academy Scarf
- Arpeggio of Blue Steel Manga Vol. 1 (Seven Seas)
For those unfamiliar with GATE, it’s about a mysterious gate that appears in the middle of Tokyo that allows monsters from another world to enter and attack the city. The Shirt included features the emblem of the Saderan Empire, which is one of the destinations in the GATE world. Also, from the same series, is a Multi-Tool Carabiner. It’s actually really cool, it includes a bottle opener, hex tool, paracord and PVC charm. This thing had me at bottle opener.
Subscribers could also get one of sixteen GUNDAM figures. I received the GUNDAM Mk-II.
The Anti-Magic Academy Scarf, is a cosplay replica of Mari Nikaido’s scarf from the series. I love when Loot Crate includes items for Cosplayers. Last scary was jut as awesome and was a replica Natsu Scarf from the anime, Fairy Tail.
The Arpeggio of Blue Steel Vol. 1 Manga included features a Loot Anime exclusive cover. I am not familiar with the series, but the series is on Crunchyroll and based on the description, sounds like one of the next anime series to start on my list.
“It’s been seventeen long years since the Fleet of Fog—a mysterious, unmanned fleet of powerful vessels that appeared out of nowhere—took control of the oceans, barring humanity from traveling between continents or islands. During those years, people the world over have dreamed of a revolt that would let them take back the seas, but there’s been no hope—until now.
A weapon powerful enough to damage the Fog’s vessels has finally been invented, and there’s just one way of getting the critical information and prototypes from Japan to America, where the weapon can produced! The submarine I-401, with its humanoid avatar—a “mental model” named Iona, who’s taken the shape of a young girl—was once part of the Fleet of Fog, but has chosen to side with humanity.
Now captained by Chihaya Gunzou and his crew, the I-401 is the only ship under human control that can move freely through the seas. But she answers only to her captain, and he answers to no one.”
Lastly, the exclusive Squadron Phone Charm comes in the shape of a dog tag to continue the “SQUADRON” theme.
