The long awaited sequel to the film that made Harrison Ford a household name, Indiana Jones is well on its way to becoming a reality as the cast begins to form. Deadline is reporting Indian Jones 5 has added Phoebe Waller-Bridge and Mads Milkkelsen to co-star along side Ford in what will likely be Harrison’s last run in the franchise.
Waller-Bridge may be best known for third wall breaking role in the hit Fleabag and the voice of the sarcasitc robot companion of Lando in Disney’s Solo. Phoebe will not play opposite ford likely as his female counterpart along the lines of the previous Indiana Jones films, although details on her role are sparse.
Also joining the cast is Mads Mikkelsen. Currently his role is also being tightly held under wraps but its proabably safe to bet considering the caliber of actor Mikkelsen will be the films antagonist and likely but heads with Jones and Phoebe on their latest archeaolgical adventure.
Indiana Jones 5 will be helmed by James Mangold with a screenplay from Jonathan Kasdan and Philip Kaufman and is currently slotted to release in the summer of 2022.
