Martin Freeman Confirms ‘Everett Ross’ Has More Marvel Universe Appearances

Feb 19, 2018

This President’s Day weekend Black Panther smashed onto screens everywhere; destroying all box office predictions. Now star Martin Freeman has confirmed to Den of Geek that his character C.I.A Agent Everett Ross is expected to appear in future Marvel Cinematic Universe films “They introduced me in Civil War and said there would be a couple of other films, one of which was Black Panther” It wouldn’t be completely out of the question to bring Ross back for either Avengers: Infinity War or Avengers 4. However, Ant-Man & The Wasp is going to have a strong FBI presence so bringing in the C.I.A could also be a possibility.

Lastly, many are speculating a younger Everett Ross in Captain Marvel next year. The film is expected to be set 90’s with even a younger Nick Fury. It would mildly upsetting that Agent Ross is now the new Agent Coulson (Clark Gregg). Who deserves far more than a dying television series like Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. However, there has been no indication that The Avengers will ever find out what happened to Phil all those years ago during the Battle of New York

Black Panther is in theaters now
