This morning Marvel and Square Enix made a huge announcement on Twitter. They have embarked on a multi-game partnership with the announcement of their first game.
The first title in this new series of games from Marvel and the developers of the Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts series of games Square Enix is titled: The Avengers Project.

While details are not available as yet, the trailer looks great. Marvel Entertainment announced it on their Twitter feed as well with the hashtag #reassemble. Crystal Dynamics and Eidos Montreal makers of Rise of the Tomb Raider and the Deus Ex series of games have also been tagged in the tweet. It looks like they will be developing the games as well.
