Marvel has revealed their cosplay variant covers which will begin shipping in October. So far 20 of the comics has been revealed, while the 21st issue will remain a surprise.
Marvel’s SVP Sales & Marketing David Gabriel stated in a press release, “Each convention I go to, it seems like there are more and more fans dressing up like their favorite Marvel characters. These homemade, hand-crafted costumes are so elaborate, it looks like they leapt off the comic page. The Cosplay Variant initiative is our way of supporting a community that supports us.”
I would love to see them continue this concept beyond the initial 21 issues stated.
