Marvel’s big summer event EMPYRE is about to claim it’s first casualty and the House of Ideas is teasing that issue number four will contain the death of a character that will shock readers! While there are no spoilers here, Marvel Executive Editor Tom Brevoort says:
“We can’t reveal anything about what happens in the course of EMPYRE #4 other than to say that Marvel fans will be talking about it for years to come!”
EMPYRE #4, goes on sale Wednesday, August 5. As the attack on Wakanda intensifies, the heroes find themselves under attack from their enemies — and their allies! In a war where nobody can be fully trusted, betrayal cuts deep — as the alien invasion claims its first casualty!
