Marvel Studios Considering a ‘Power Pack’ Feature Film?

Sep 18, 2017

Back in 2005 during the birth of Marvel Studios; the company made a deal with Merrill Lynch to devlop 10 possible comic titles into feature films. These included Avengers, Cloak & Dagger and the Power Pack. Now while the Power Pack is an extremely obscure property to the general public. Marvel is looking to their Phase 4 and beyond past the core Avenger films.

Now thanks to out buddies over at That Hashtag Show they revealed while the film is not in-active development the studio is looking back on this deal to see what they can possibly develop into a full length feature film.  Jonathan Schwartz a close assistant to Kevin Feige and producer on Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2 is looking to oversee the project:

This may come off of the recent success of teenage driven properties which include Netflix’s Stranger Things as well as the massive hit IT. Marvel currently, has 3 TV shows in development centered around young adults which include The Runaways, New Warriors and Cloak & Dagger. However, they really don’t have a feature film for teens; so the Power Pack could be a great installment into the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
