Disney assembled the Avengers at the #D23Expo to show-off a teaser trailer for the upcoming Avengers: Infinity War and it sent fans into a frenzy; at the Anaheim Convention Center and online. Unfortunately we can’t show you the teaser trailer right now because no one can, only people at the Convention Center can see it at the moment, and it probably won’t be released to the public until after Comic-Con. However, we can give you a detailed right-up of what was in that teaser trailer and it is hair-raising!

The trailer opens aboard the Milano (Guardians of the Galaxy ship) as the Guardians look on to a scene of destruction, “this could be dangerous, so everyone put on your mean faces” Star-Lord warns his comrades.
The Guardians are unprepared for the monstrous thud as something smashes into the Milano’s windshield – it’s Thor. He’s unconscious and heavily bruised as they pull him into the spaceship. Mantis wakes him up. Thor looks up, disoriented, “Who the hell are you guys?!”
A little while later, the Guardians and Thor reach a new destination, presumably Earth: “Something’s very wrong.”
There is an apocalyptic battle raging on. Vision looks troubled as Scarlet Witch attempts to save him. Tony Stark and Doctor Strange are fighting. Loki holds the Cosmic Cube facing an unseen character, Thanos?
A female voice is heard, “Death follows him like a shadow” – Thanos flashes on-screen.
CUT TO: Peter Parker is riding on the school bus as it crosses a bridge – the hair on his arm spikes up, his spidey-senses are tingling for the first time. The foreshadowing threat is indisputable.
Tony Stark warns, “He’s coming for us”. A giant ship crashes. The area truly looks post-apocalyptic.
THANOS SPEAKS: “Fun isn’t something one considers when balancing the universe, but this does put a smile on my face.” He emerges, a gigantic figure, with a sly grin on his face.
The trailer switches to a fast-cut montage: Spider-Man swings in with his Avengers suit. Captain America jumps into action with a beard and an unkempt haircut. Thanos holds Thor’s head in his hand, ready to squash it.
The trailer ends with Thanos wielding the Infinity Gauntlet, with only 2/5 stones in place, and still very powerful. Thanos reaches back and the sky ripples and surges behind him. He summons balls of fire as they rain down from the heavens as Thanos says, “You can fight it… you can run from it, but destiny still arrives.”
Lastly, he throws the moon at The Avengers….
That’s it, that’s the teaser trailer for Avengers: Infinity War. Excited?
The teaser trailer got a standing ovation at the Convention Center and it has San Diego Comic-Con attendees brimming with joy at the potential of seeing it soon. Meanwhile, the best the rest of us can do is keep reading these descriptions and imagining it, sigh.
