Marvel and IMAX look to be fast tracking their Inhumans mini-series adaption. The first two episodes of the series will debut this Fall exclusively in IMAX theaters before continuing on ABC. Recently, we got a character breakdown of the Marvel characters that will be used in the series. Of course, it will be based off Black Bolt and the Royal Family of Attilan. Marvel went on to confirm that Roel Reine will direct the first two episodes of the mini-series as well.
Now thank’s to My Entertainment World we have learned that the series will start filming this March in both Chicago and Los Angeles. Minor Update: The show will also be shooting sometime in Hawaii:
No one has yet to be cast in any of the roles. However, while speaking with ScreenRant actor Vin Diesel, who has been campaigning for Black Bolt for many years is upset that Marvel is having the characters head to television instead of the long-in-development movie:
“I don’t think Marvel should abandon their opportunity to make a film out of it,” he said. “I think it could be a huge, huge saga, and if I had more time I would go over to Marvel and have that very conversation. But I think it would be a big mistake for Marvel to abandon their ambitions or their objective or their goals of making it into a film because it would make such a cool universe.”
