While Kingsman 2 didn’t exactly set the box office on fire, people are still interested in seeing more of these spy action parodies from writer-director Matthew Vaughn.
While speaking with CinemaBlend he revealed there are still intentions to make Kingsman 3 and even teased a spinoff featuring their American counterparts the Statesman. This could suggest that Channing Tatum could lead that film if he survived a third movie.
“I think there’s a story in my head which will be finished by the end of the next one. And then after that then, of course, there could be Statesman movies, there could be spinoff character films. The universe could continue with new agents. Or, you know, Colin (Firth) could become Arthur.. or new characters could come in. Or new kids get trained. There’s so many options, but I also think it’s better not to be too greedy.”
Nothing has been made of official but there is a good chance a third film could come together if a budget makes 20th CFox happy enough.
