The Mayo Clinic has teamed up with Google to integrate generative AI in its clinical workflows, starting with speeding up research through Google Cloud’s Enterprise Search in Generative AI App Builder. Google Cloud also announced that the app builder is now capable of creating systems that comply with HIPAA guidelines. Mayo Clinic’s chief information officer Cris Ross said generative AI could have a “significant and positive impact on how we work and deliver healthcare”.
