I’m a huge fan of buddy cop films and TV shows, all thanks to my Gran. It was her who first introduced me to the Lethal Weapon films as a kid, and it was there I fell in love with genre.

So I got excited today when the first trailer for John Michael McDonagh’s War on Everyone dropped. The film stars Michael Pena (Fury) and Alexander Skarsgård (Tarzan) as two corrupt cops in New Mexico.

Here’s the films official synopsis:

Two corrupt cops in New Mexico set out to blackmail and frame every criminal unfortunate enough to cross their path. Things take a sinister turn, however, when they try to intimidate someone who is more dangerous than they are. Or is he?

This film had me sold when Skarsgård booted the criminal in the balls, just for pointing out he was dyslexic.

War On Everyone hits screens in the UK September 30th. But so far there has been no word on when the film will be released stateside. So keep an eye on the site as we’ll keep you updated.
