One of the first shows in development for Disney+ just got a huge update. The ‘Monsters Inc.’ spin-off television series has its cast! Also, several actors are reprising their roles from the original 2001 film and the 2013 prequel ‘Monsters University.’

Moreover, the premise of the series is below:
“The series picks up six months after the original movie with the power plant at its center now harvesting the laughter of children to fuel the city of Monstropolis, thanks to Mike (Crystal) and Sulley’s (Goodman) discovery that laughter generates ten times more energy than screams. The series follows mechanic Tylor Tuskmon (Feldman), who dreams of working on the Laugh Floor alongside Mike and Sulley.”
Further, Bobs Gannaway (‘The Emperor’s New School,’ ‘Planes: Fire & Rescue’) serves as developer and executive producer. Additionally, the directors include Kat Good (‘Penn Zero: Part-Time Hero,’ ‘Big Hero 6: The Series’) and Rob Gibbs (‘Monsters, Inc.,’ ‘Mater’s Tall Tales’).
But, we still do not know if the series will be 2D or 3D animated.
‘Monsters at Work’ will premiere in 2020. Meanwhile, the Disney+ streaming service will launch in the fourth quarter of this year.
