There is almost nothing in the world that I detest more than grainy security camera footage. In an age of 4K TV, it bothers me to no end. The footage I have for you is worth watching.
The grainy security video titled “Midland Circle Security Elevator B” shows the cast of Marvel’s The Defenders seemingly getting ready to confront someone. You can see Luke Cage (Mike Colter), who looks like he’s been shot a few times, Daredevil (Charlie Cox) not in costume, but definitely sporting a mask, Iron Fist (Finn Jones) leaning back in the elevator and Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter) seemingly taking the lead along with the precaution of taking out the camera itself.
The time stamp on the video at the end reads 08:18:20:17, which many think indicates a premiere date for the series of August 18, 2017. In the upper left hand corner of the screen, there is a URL that takes you to a viral site for the New York Bulletin which features stories on The Meachums and others that seemingly hold clues to other plot points in other series. UPDATE : As I was writing this story and getting ready to embed the video, it looks like Netflix has pulled it for unknown reasons. If it comes back, I will add it to the story but the link is still active to the viral site.
Update 2: The video has returned.
