Netflix has renewed “Fuller House” for a second season, just five days after the debut of the first season. The announcement comes via the Fuller House Twitter account and includes a video.

Fuller House takes places twenty years after the conclusion of Full House and focuses on Candace Cameron-Bure’s character, D.J. Tanner-Fuller, who is a recently widowed veterinarian with a newborn son, a 7 and 13-year-old son. She moves into the iconic house from the original series and becomes roommates with her sister Stephanie Tanner (Jodie Sweetin) and best friend from childhood, Kimmy Gibbler (Andrea Barber). Bob Saget, Dave Coulier, John Stamos and Lori Loughlin also make appearances throughout the series.

Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen are absent from the new series but perhaps the return of Michelle Tanner could happen in the second season.

The original series aired on ABC for eight seasons from 1987 to 1995.
