Netflix’s 8-Episode ‘Witcher’ Series Coming In 2020 – Will Shoot In Eastern Europe

Apr 21, 2018

Producer and writer Lauren S. Hissrich (Daredevil, The Defenders) has dropped some new information concerning her upcoming Netflix series based on the popular Witcher novels and video games.

Lauren revealed via Twitter that the first season will consist of eight episodes and will film in Eastern Europe, which makes sense considering the Slavic folklore and Polish origins of the series.

She also revealed the series will drop on Netflix sometime in 2020.

Fans will be happy to learn that a slew of characters including Yennefer and Triss have been previously confirmed by Hissrich back in February.
