Netflix’s Comic Book Flick ‘The Last Days of American Crime’ Adds Sharlto Copley, Anna Brewster, and Michael Pitt

Variety reports that Edgar Ramirez will have some company on the Netflix comic book The Last Days of American Crime.

Actors Sharlto Copley, Anna Brewster, and Michael Pitt have joined the film from director Olivier Megaton (Colombiana, Transporter 3, Taken 2, Taken 3).

The story is set in a near future where the U.S. government, fighting terrorism and crime, plans to begin broadcasting a signal that makes it impossible for anyone to knowingly commit an unlawful act.

Omega Underground previously reported that filming on The Last Days of American Crime will being on October 24th and will wrap on December 19th.

Locations will include Cape Town and Johannesburg, South Africa.

We also reported they’ve hired The Badlands cinematographer Daniel Aranyo.

It’s expected the film could drop the last quarter of 2019.
