A new set photo from the stages of Doctor Strange, reveals what looks to be the home of Strange’s mentor The Ancient One, likely located in Nepal or Tibet.
The photo was posted by Marvel producer Louis D’Esposito (via Twitter), who recently visited the set. There have been previous rumors that Iron Fist and Strange could have some sort of connections/crossover, either in the film or eventually down the road in the series. Although, having the Marvel Television head arriving on the movie set isn’t confirming a thing, as he’s been on a majority of the film sets.
Louis currently has Luke Cage in production with Iron Fist‘s development shaping-up with Dexter‘s Scott Buck running it.
Doctor Strange being a founding member of The Defenders and being located in New York City (the Village), leaves a lot of opportunity for a crossover and the fact Cumberbatch is still doing television projects. Rand and Strange sharing mystical powers/origins could lead to them bumping into each other, but we don’t know for sure if that’ll happen any time soon.
