EW and People Magazine have posted even more images from Ridley Scott‘s upcoming science fiction thriller The Martian. In these new photos we get our first looks Kristen Wiig who plays a NASA Spokesperson, along with Mark Watney’s Mars research team that includes Jessica Chastain, Kate Mara, Sebastian Stan, and Aksel Hennie. The rest of the massively talented cast includes Sean Bean, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Donald Glover, Jeff Daniels, and Mackenzie Davis.
The Martian sees astronaut Mark Watney (Damon) as part of a science team conducting experiments on the red planet. When a storm forces the team to evacuate, Watney is injured and presumed dead, then left behind to fend for himself. With little hope of rescue and limited resources, he uses the power of science to keep himself alive on the planet’s barren surface.
The Martian is set for release on November 27th, 2015.
