The newest trailer for NBC‘s superhero workplace comedy Powerless has some nods to the DC Comics universe as well as the Dark Knight himself.

This new trailer for the series shows the employees of Wayne Security, a subsidiary of Wayne Enterprises as they deal with their everyday lives in a world filled with superheroes and the ensuing battles that they fight. The crew of this special division is tasked with creating items for humans that will keep them safe in case they are caught in the middle of one of those battles. The trailer shows Crimson Fox engaged in battle, which has been teased in previous trailers, but it also shows the cosmic villain Starro attacking the city and being taken out by a green energy ray, possibly from a Green Lantern.
We also get out introduction to the head of this department and member of the Bat-Family…..adjacent. Alan Tudyk (Firefly/ Rogue One: A Star Wars Story) plays Van Wayne, Bruce Wayne’s cousin. From the trailer, it doesn’t look like they are particularly close. It doesn’t help that Van has a rather strange infatuation with Lex Luthor.
Powerless airs Thursday February 2.
