Ay what’s good, my name is Gabe and if you follow the site regularly then you’d see some of my sweet posts about gaming news and reviews. I also really love music with a huge passion of mine and starting today I want to start sharing some of the hottest, newest fire tracks that drop every week in a segment I would like to call #NewMusicFriday. You may know some of the artist or even discover some new loves. I want to keep it short and sweet so that you can dive right in and listen.
Welcome to #NewMusicFriday for July 27th!
First up with some new heat is Logic, who dropped a new single ‘One Day‘ ft. Ryan Tedder. This is Logic’s first single for his upcoming studio album. He really came on the scene last year with his hit single ‘1-800-273-8255‘ that had a very powerful message for listeners about suicide. He already had a growing fan base in the hip-hop community, myself included as a huge fan. His bars are real smooth and have a great message each album. You can check out his latest Mixtape: Bobby Tarentino 2 now on all platforms.
“Anotha one”… Next up is one of my fave’s by DJ Khaled. His newest track ‘No Brainer’ with Justin Bieber, Chance and Quavo is a for sure Summer banger. Khaled is known for producing some of smoothest beats and collaborating with the hottest artists and this one is no different. This one dropped a little later than the rest but at here it first here at the GWW.
Continuing my trend of Hip-Hop, I encourage you to please give a listen to Mac Miller. This dude is severely underrated and has at least 3 quality albums with one on the way next Friday and you bets believe I will give a short review on it here at the GWW. Titled ‘What’s the Use?’ this track has a little funk and groove to it. I’m really diggin it and gives me a little Paak vibe to it.
Last and by far my favorite release of the week is Denzel Curry. If you are going to listen anything this week please give his latest album, TA1300, a listen. If you are a fan of true modern Hip-Hop then you will really dig this album. It is separated into 3 sections, the first having a more calm and chill vibe. The second section has all the bangers for your getting pumped pleasure. HEAT. The final section dives deep into a blend of bangers and hard hitting verses guaranteed to get you pumped. I want to also touch quickly on some notable releases for you listening pleasure. RL Grime finally releases his newest album ‘NOVA‘. I have been anticipating this for awhile as well. If you like Trap/EDM beats then peep that one for sure. Hands Like Houses! Finally a new single from this Australian group, ‘Overthinking’. There sound is so clean, if you love rock music then please go ahead and give a listen. New Music from Pale Waves, new artist Houssein, Alan Walker, and Matoma have all hit me this week as well.
