After getting Dick Grayson back in Nightwing #74, we get to see him bring closure to a few things. Dan Jurgens also gives us a pretty good idea of what’s next.
For those who powered through the Ric Grayson era, Nightwing #75 may serve as a release. One thing, in particular, that Dick addressed hit home.
My one major gripe with this was how Dick looked so different in the first few pages from the rest of the book. He looks like he’s 18 (at the oldest) when we first see him. Then the rest of the way he looks like himself again.
Outside of that, Travis Moore and Ronan Cliquet, along with Nick Filardi, gave this book a much different vibe from the Ric and Dicky Boy days. They did a good job of helping turn the page on that chapter of Nightwing’s life.

Dick’s conversation with Alfred hit hard. Legit tingles when Dick started to tear up over how things ended between the two of them.
Of course, that’s not Dick’s fault. But who wouldn’t feel terrible after ending things so coldly with someone you cared about so much. Especially if you felt similarly about them.
That was one of the toughest things about Alfred’s death — Dick not being emotionally there despite being physically present. Though, having him deal with the situation separately makes his reaction hit a little harder.
