I couldn’t handle the idea of a Nintendo device that I don’t own. So I bought the Switch Lite and unboxed it on camera!
TL;DR It’s lighter, more comfortable and has better battery life. I’ve played several hours of Zelda: Link’s Awakening on the Lite and I absolutely can’t go back to the original Switch for handheld gaming. Cloud saves are not difficult to transfer so if you intend on owning both, my advise is to leave the original Switch docked at home.
