An important tale with real world consequences.

No. 1 With A Bullet is a compelling look at modern society’s obsession with celebrity in the digital age. From noted author Jacob Semahn and award-winning artist Jorge Corona, No. 1 With A Bullet tells the tale of Nash Huang, internet darling, and hacking victim. The author’s intent to throw a light on the alarming trend of digital privacy invasion is evident right from the beginning of the story and Jorge Corona draws us in further with his unique visual style and frenetic pace. Far too often we fail to realize just how horrible this crime is and what the consequences are for the victims.

With a recent announcement from Sony for a contact lens recording device, it may not be long before this fiction has the potential to become reality.

Nash has her world turned upside down in this all-too-possible tragic tale and serious page-turner. Don’t worry though, her No. 1 fan has her back! Oh, wait, that might not be a good thing. Between, contact lenses that record, victim blaming bosses and a distraught spouse, Nash has a lot to deal with. As a sex tape goes viral, the body count grows and Nash is caught in the center of a horrific story through no fault of her own.

The art is beautiful, the dialogue gripping, and we can’t help but feel real pain for the main character’s plight. Come November 1st, make sure this book is on your pull list. You won’t regret it!
