NVIDIA has launched a new tool called Avatar Cloud Engine (ACE) for Games, which leverages generative AI to enhance non-player characters in video games. The ACE for Games foundry service generates AI models for NPCs with unique personalities, behaviors, and dialogue. The technology is designed to create more immersive gaming experiences by making NPCs act like real people and react differently to each player. ACE for Games can be employed by systems using Nvidia’s NeMo model for language, Riva tool for automatic speech recognition and text-to-speech, and Audio2Face.
