I have to say that this one definitely tugged at my heartstrings and brought a tear to my eye. Very emotional read for Logan and Frank Castle fans.

We begin our journey in the Wastelands 50 years into the future. A town is being terrorized by a group known as the Punishers. They happened to be wearing the classic black skull garb. Logan is approached by a hysterical woman saying he caused this by killing the Hulk Gang. He tells the woman that he’ll go bring her boy back. Logan approaches the Punishers compound asking to see the man in charge. The guard makes the mistake of shooting Logan in the head and leaves him to lie there for the crows to pick at. Luckily a man drags him to his camp and surprise. it’s Frank Castle! Logan thinks he’s seeing a ghost but Frank explains that it was some punk pretending to be him that got killed. Frank says that he’s been watching the Punishers and their leader Panhead for a couple of weeks now. He just wants his name and memories back!

Frank and Logan team up to save the children of the nearby town and to retrieve Franks name and memories. Even at 70 years old Frank is still a badass! He takes on Panhead but unfortunately gets whacked by his ginormous hammer and taken down. The most amazing Justice is served by a child named Marcus, delivering the kill shot to Panhead. Logan rushes to Franks side but all he wants is his memories back. Logan finds his book day brings it to him. Frank opens it and sees his family and is able to Rest In Peace, finally having his name and memories back. Talk about a cry fest!

We finish this story with some pages from the Punisher’s wastelands journal. Which will be an upcoming series that I’m excited to read. It’ll be interesting to see the path they take with this one.
