The Post
Initial launch House Game’s whitelist sale and public sale lasted a total of 48 hours, starting on March 13th at 11AM and ending on March 15th at 11AM. During our initial launch, we encountered many issues with our game interface. Players weren’t able to mint properly, nor were they able to view their NFTs. This caused a big issue for many players who had hoped to become landlords.
Due to these issues and bugs, we decided to completely pause all minting while we sort out issues and work on a patch. Our intention for pausing was to create a fully functional game interface as quickly as possible where players could view/stake/unstake their properties and claim their $CASH accumulation. In the process of fixing the interface, we paid close attention to community feedback in the discord and decided that we should also compensate everyone who was able to mint in the initial launch.
Post launch After the mint deadline passed, we put our heads together and got to work on fixing the game interface. In order to speed up the process, we decided to outsource some development work to a third party company that we have worked with since the inception of House Game.
Where we stand now Within nearly 2 days of pausing our initial launch, we had redeveloped a fully functional game interface where users are now able to mint properties without any issues, view/stake/unstake their properties, and claim accumulated $CASH from their properties. These are the essential core mechanics of House Game, which are live and available to all landlords on our game interface .
What to expect next With every core mechanic now fully operational, we’re able to focus on providing in game utility for our $CASH token. Here’s a few things we’ve begun work on already and will be rolling out within the next few weeks:
Whitelist Marketplace — Players will be able to use their accumulated $CASH and purchase whitelist spots for projects that we collaborate with. We have strong connections with multiple already established projects, reputable influencers, and new upcoming projects. We are using all of our resources and connections strategically to provide landlords with whitelist spots for hyped projects.
Property Renovations — Players will be able to upgrade their Houses/Utility Buildings using $CASH. These upgrades will be both functional and cosmetic. Upgrades will allow players to modify parts of their properties and yield additional $CASH on a daily basis, as well as lower tenant property damages. With our smart contracts being upgradeable, we are able to always add additional features to our Houses/Utility Buildings.
Our second launch Roughly 550 landlords were able to mint during our public and private sale prior to us pausing mint. We understand that a lot more players wanted to mint into the project but were experiencing technical difficulties.
With everything being fully operational and game development our priority, we are now comfortable to move forward with our second launch. We will be following up with more details on an exact launch date. We are working on our whitelist marketplace and hope to have it up and running prior to our second launch.
Conclusion We and our community experienced a lot of issues during our initial launch, so we’ve spent the last few days listening and engaging with our community. We have completely redeveloped and released our fully operational game interface, and are working quickly on releasing more utilities for $CASH. With everything being fixed and fully operational, our focus now turns to doing a second launch where the experience will be much smoother.
We want to thank everyone that is a part of House Game from the bottom of our hearts. With such a supportive community, we were able to quickly pivot and move in a positive direction as quickly as possible, and for that, we can’t thank everyone enough. We will be rewarding all players who participated in our initial mint with $CASH as well as Houses.
We have a long road ahead of us and we’re thankful for the progress we’re making and excited for the future of House Game.
