Several months ago it was revealed that Paramount will continue their Transformers films into a cinematic universe of sorts. They went onto hire Batman & Robin scribe Akiva Goldsman to shoe-horn a team of writers for potential upcoming Transformer spin-off films. Now Deadline is reporting on which screenwriters will try to expand the live-action Transformers films originally created by Micheal Bay. They include The Walking Dead’s Robert Kirkman, Iron Man screenwriters Art Marcum and Matt Holloway, The Incredible Hulk & Elektra writer Zak Penn and one of The Amazing Spider-Man 2 screenwriter Jeff Pinker. It’s unknown which writers films will become actual movies or which characters they will base their films actually on.
