Director Peter Berg announced via his Instagram account that composers Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross will be scoring his Boston Marathon bombing flim Patriots Day.
Trent and Atticus are best known for their work with director David Fincher, winning an Oscar for Best Original Score for The Social Network. Other projects they’ve worked on included The Girl with The Dragon Tattoo and Gone Girl.
The cast includes Mark Wahlberg, J.K. Simmons, Kevin Bacon, Michelle Monaghan, Melissa Benoist, John Goodman Rachel Brosnahan, Lana Condor, and Alex Wolff.
Patriots Day will be getting a limited release on December 21st for Oscar contention with a wide release expansion on January 12th, 2017.
