ThatHashtagShow first revealed that one of the villains of Wonder Woman 2 would be Cheetah which was later backed up by Deadline when they reported that Kristen Wiig was in talks to play her.
Now, director Patty Jenkins has confirmed both Cheetah and Kristen Wiig has joined the sequel. Which also led to Gal Gadot welcoming her as well.

It’s an interesting casting choice for sure but word is she was Patty’s pick and we’re all for Jenkins having as much creative control as possible when it comes to the casting of the film. Wiig and Gadot remain the only cast members confirmed but more casting announcements are expected in the coming weeks as the prep has already begun on the film.
Plot details are scarce at the moment but Wonder Woman 2 is said to be set during the Cold-War of the 1980s with the Soviet Union the antagonists of the film.
Production on Wonder Woman 2 aka Magic Hour is set to begin filming on May 28th at Warner Bros. Studios UK.
Its release date has been set for November 1st, 2019.
