James Bond himself because a different type of hero as Pierce Brosnan joins the cast of Black Adam as the magical Dr. Fate.
The Hollywood Reporter confirms Brosnan will join Dwayne Johnson’s Black Adam, Aldis Hodge’s Hawkman, Noach Centineo’s Atom Smasher and Quintessa Swindell’s Cyclone in the upcoming ant-hero DC project. Brosnan will be playing Kent Nelson, the son of an archeologist who was bestowed with the knowledge of magic and given the mystical helmet of Fate, which once he dawns gives him almost unlimited power and turns him into the hero Dr. Fate.
Not much is known about the plot as this time but it would appear the Justice Society of America will play a big role in the film as we see them taken on a demonic villain played by Marwan Kenzari.
Black Adam currently has no set release date but the film will be directed by Jaume Collet-Serra who just finished working with Johnson on Disney’s Jungle Cruise.
