Disney and Pixar now have a new movie on their June 19, 2020 date: ‘Soul.’ The film is from veteran Pixar director Pete Docter.
Docter recently did the Academy Award winning ‘Inside Out,’ from 2015. He was also the director of ‘Monsters, Inc.’ and ‘Up.’
Meanwhile, it is likely he will be writing ‘Soul,’ like he did with his previous three movies. However, there is no word on who wrote the screenplay.
Moreover, the logline for the film:
“Ever wonder where your passion, your dreams and your interests come from? What is it that makes you … you? Pixar Animation Studios will take you on a journey from the streets of New York City to the cosmic realms to discover the answers to life’s most important questions.”
Further, the only competition on this date is Universal’s Judd Apatow/Pete Davidson Comedy.
