Today, the guys over at Birth.Movies.Death revealed some details on the long rumored Booster Gold. The movie was first rumored a couple months ago but has yet to be officially announced by DC Comics on their current film slate. However according to their sources the screenwriter behind Marvel’s original Thor film, X-Men: First Class and the upcoming Power Rangers reboot Zack Stenz is gonna take a crack at a script however it won’t include Blue Beetle like previously thought.
They also reveal that DCTV producer Greg Berlanti is eyeing to direct this buddy-cop duo flick. Berlanti is most known for producing such shows like Arrow, The Flash and Supergirl however he was one of the writing forces behind the failed 2011 DC film Green Lantern starring Ryan Reynolds.
Of course take with a small pinch of slat until further confirmation comes from the studio on a film even in the works…
