Psychedelic VR- FutureKat SuperPark Kickstarter

FutureKat SuperPark (FKSP) is an up and coming VR title heading to mobile devices by Pierce International, Unlimited. Taking place in a zany cartoon dystopia, players will be able to explore SuperPark and the psychedelic characters that reside within.  Some things transcend written expression, and the trailer for FKSP is one of those things.

FKSP is using VR Jogger technology that will allow players to control movement by walking in place. As a VR “believer” it will be interesting to see if this mechanic helps fix the movement problem within VR. FKSP also features a soundtrack of artists from around the world to bring the bizarre sights of SuperPark to life. FKSP will  release on Android and iOS.  The game is comptabile with Google Cardboard thus giving users on both iOS and Android the ability to experience the game. Could this be a hint of things to come? Perhaps we’ll soon see a flood of VR games that are compatible on iOS…

FKSP is currently running a Kickstarter to help finish up the game. Some rewards include “tricked out” versions of  Google Cardboard. If you don’t have one, now might be the time to get a trippy version and be the cool kid on the block. The kickstarter runs through the month of August FutureKat SuperPark promise to release this Fall.
