Rebecca Ferguson Confirmed To Return For ‘Mission: Impossible 6’

Dec 9, 2015

A new report Showbiz 411 from claims that Swedish actress Rebecca Ferguson will indeed return to co-star with Tom Cruise in Mission: Impossible 6, as MI6 agent Ilsa Faust, reportedly signing her contract to do so with Paramount.

Christopher McQuarrie, who wrote and directed Rogue Nation confirmed his return on Twitter not too long ago.

Our hope is that this might help inspire Paramount to make spin-offs with the capable Faust in her own series of spy films.

The actress has already been linked/rumored for lead roles in both Marvel’s Captain Marvel and Ridley Scott’s Alien: Covenant, this announcement might have these studios trying frantically to sign her up to make their schedules work. Rebecca is currently shooting Girl on A Train and is expected to co-star with Michael Fassbender in The Snowman, which is could be more standout projects for her.

The sixth installment is apparently looking for a 2017 release date.
