Yesterday, Deadline revealed that Disney and director Niki Caro have cast action superstar Donnie Yen (Rogue One, Blade 2) in a leading role in their live-action Mulan movie.
It’s a big casting update after a few production delays and gives the impression they’ll be surrounding newcomer Yifei Liu (playing Mulan) with established actors.
Disney recently bumped the release date of Mulan to March 27th, 2020.
