Deadline has some updated international box office numbers for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. The film has now earned $802 million globally with it now landing the number two spot domestically behind Finding Dory at $441 million.
Some have projected the film’s final global cume will end up around $1.3 billion. That’s indeed possible with Chinese audiences getting their first look at the film this weekend. If the film does well in China the returns could skyrocket very quickly.
Domestically, the film is still getting strong returns and that could continue in the usually sluggish month of January.
