At today’s earnings call meeting, Disney CEO Bob Iger confirmed Casian Andor (Diego Luna) will be getting his own show set before the events of ‘Rogue One.’
Diego Luna will be reprising his role as Cassian for the series, and released the following statement regarding the show.
“Going back to the Star Wars universe is very special for me.. I have so many memories of the great work we did together and the relationships I made throughout the journey. We have a fantastic adventure ahead of us, and this new exciting format will give us the chance to explore this character more deeply.”
The show will begin production sometime next year once Luna is done filming the new season of ‘Narcos.’
