With Justice League starting filming this month it’s about time people start talking about Green Lantern Corps. One of the solo films slated in the DC Expanded Universe set to feature fan-favorite Lanterns Hal Jordan and John Stewart.
However Latino-Review has spoken with their sources and have learned a new Lantern maybe added to the list of characters featured in the film. According to their sources Kyle Rayner will be a third lantern in the film. Now while many probably would have preferred Guy Gardner it’s great to see these characters come to life. Something that was missing from the original 2011 film. The site goes onto reveals that Hal Jordan is expected to be much older than Rayner and Stewart in the age range of Matt Damon. Another Green Lantern Jessica Cruz was also once rumored to appear in Justice League Part II back in March.
Come to think of it Matt Damon would make a pretty great Hal Jordan. Plus it doesn’t hurt he is best friends with The Batman himself Ben Affleck; it’s only a matter of time before he joins the DCEU. Actually Damon was once attached to star as Oliver Queen in David Goyers Supermax film back in The Dark Knight days but that never came to fruition.
