RUMOR: Comedian Steve Agee Outed As ‘Guardians of The Galaxy 2’ Cast Member On A Podcast?

Feb 2, 2016

According to tidbit of information given to Slash Film, comedian Steve Agee (New Girl) might have been revealed to be apart of the Guardians of The Galaxy Vol. 2 cast. Apparently, Agee was supposed to be on Doug Benson’s Doug Loves Movies live show/podcast, but was too busy getting ready to shoot the film. Then again, Doug is known to make things up in the name of comedy, take with a grain of salt for now.

However, it’s not entirely shocking since Steve was cast in James Gunn’s horror flick Belko Experiment, alongside Gunn’s brother Sean, who plays Rocket Raccoon on set and Ravager Kraglin. The film was directed by Greg McLean, from a script by Gunn. He also had a small role as a sleepy comic book guy in Super.

We know that James likes to cast people he’s worked with before, and led to Michael Rooker getting a rather large role in Guardians. I don’t think that might be case here, as Steve would make an excellent Ravager. James has referred to Steve as one of his best friends on the Facebook post announcing his involvement with the Belko Experiment.
