RUMOR: Scarlett Johansson’s Solo ‘Black Widow’ Movie Could Be Making A Return To Miami

Oct 30, 2018

It’s starting to look like things are indeed coming together on Marvel’s solo Black Widow movie.

Recently, it was revealed by ThatHashtagShow that filming could begin early next year and that Croatia might be one of the European filming locations for the espionage flick.

Omega Underground has caught-wind of another possible filming location that could see Black Widow shoot scenes stateside in Florida, potentially in the Miami area.

We are only treating this as a rumor for the moment, but Marvel has been recently tinkering with different American locales recently as seen with Captain Marvel’s production shot scenes in California and Louisiana.

A lot of Shane Black’s Iron Man 3 takes place in the state of Florida and Killian’s mansion is located in Miami.

Pre-production is said to be well underway with Cate Shortland set to direct and Scarlett Johansson reprising the role of Natasha Romanoff aka Black Widow.

Casting and production dates should be revealed by the year’s end as it does look like the project has taken over the production slot originally held for Guardians of The Galaxy 3, which is on pause as the studio hires a replacement director.

Marvel Studios has yet to officially announce a release date but it’s rumored to be eyeing a drop on May 1st, 2020.
