Our friends over at The DisInsider are reporting that ‘Bumblebee’ director Travis Knight is being eyed to replace James Gunn as the director of the third ‘Guardians Of The Galaxy’ movie.
There are no production details or release date yet, but it is safe to say that there will most likely be some delays due to the director drama.
Knight previously directed ‘Kubo And The Two Strings’ and will make his live action debut with ‘Bumblebee.’
The last two ‘Guardians’ films were directed by James Gunn, was fired from the third installment after old tweets came back to haunt him. Both movies starred Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Bradley Cooper, and Vin Diesel. It is currently unknown who will be returning.
