Salesforce Ventures has increased its investment in generative AI start-ups to $500m and launched the AI Cloud suite of generative AI tools. The Generative AI Fund has already invested in the likes of Cohere and Hearth.AI, and will now fund Humane, a maker of screenless AI assistants for wearables, and Tribble, which develops function automation. The Generative AI Fund will also offer support to philanthropic organisations through the Salesforce Accelerator – AI for Impact programme, providing funding and expert help on using generative AI.
