Something out of the blue was posted by Samuel L. Jackson on his Instagram account.
It shows Sam in presdent day Nick Fury mode in a makeup trailer in the UK. Jackson recently wrapped filming as 1992 era Fury for Captain Marvel, which finished it’s last leg of the shoot in Louisiana on July 6th.
Spider-Man: Far From Home just started filming in the UK and the film is rumored to include spies such as a female MI6 Agent, which could end up being Jessica Drew aka Spider-Woman.
There is a good chance that Nick Fury will be the Avenger character that Peter Parker will be interacting with as Kevin Feige said it won’t be Benedict Cumberbatch’s Doctor Strange. The two interacted on many occasions in various comics and cartoons, so the paring does make sense.
Another possibility could be Avengers 4 reshoots which are happening over the summer and are expected to take place on both sides of the pond. But it does look like it is for the Spidey sequel even though it’s not confirmed.
Spider-Man: Far From Home is set for release on July 5th, 2019.
